Aimee + Rob's Dupont Circle Wedding

¬¬On June 11th, 2011 Aimee and Rob said “I Do” in a traditional ceremony at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Washington DC. Looking stunning in a dress from Chevy Chase Bridal Boutique by Simone Carvalli, Aimee glided down the aisle.
Following the ceremony the guests and wedding party headed to The Washington Club in Dupont Circle where they were met with the annual Gay Pride Parade.
“Dupont Circle was the place to be on June 11th with people coming from all over the US to partake in the wedding and the Gay Pride parade. Lots of happy people!” Aimee gushed about the exciting coincidence on her wedding day.
The Washington Club provided Aimee and Rob with much of their inspiration. They were going for a sort of art deco theme but above all else wanted something simple and elegant. A theme they were easily able to achieve.
At the reception guests enjoyed dinner from Windows Catering followed by cake from them as well. Kelsey Hendrickson, of Windows Catering, stayed on site for the reception to make sure everything ran smoothly for the couple. Thus, allowing Aimee and Rob to sit back, enjoy their company and dance away the night to Bialek Music’s UpFront Band.
