my love letter

As you might have assumed, I write very little on this blog because I'm not the best at putting words together and I believe that my photos can speak for themselves. BUT it is time for me to write a little love letter to all of the amazing couples I have worked with in the past year. I have been so fortunate to have photographed some of the most interesting and fun-loving couples that I have ever met. You make my job so much fun and I can't thank you enough for that.

On that note, I would like to introduce a lovely couple that live down the street from me in Old Town Alexandria. Let me list the various ways in which our paths cross:

Kristin studied at the University of Alabama...I grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Dave's parents live in Houston...mine just moved there.
Kristin's parents now live in Roanoke, VA.... I went to undergrad in Roanoke.
Dave is from Missisippi..... so his state is a neighbor of my home state... and I end up there on accident when I drive down to Gulf Shores from Tuscaloosa.
They love Mad Men.. I LOVE LOVE MAD MEN.
